Attention drivers on the roads, fog!

Fog is observed in the region, which will persist until approximately 12:00. Visibility on the roads is up to 800 meters.

The condition of the road surface on local roads: wet, treated with friction materials.

To avoid emergency situations in foggy weather, follow the following rules:

• Choose a speed mode that would ensure timely braking in front of an obstacle that appeared suddenly;
• Wet road surface increases the braking distance of vehicles. When driving in a convoy, increase the distance between cars – at least 50 m;
• Use fog lights;
• Carefully follow the signals of cars moving in front;
• Avoid sudden braking without special reasons;

-If you are unable to move, brake gently, pull over to the side of the road and turn on your hazard lights.
