The President of Ukraine inspected the roads of the Kharkiv region

On September 2, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in the Kharkiv region on a working visit. In the morning, the President, together with the Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleksiy Kucher and the Head of Ukravtodor Oleksandr Kubrakov, inspected the roads of local and state importance from a helicopter.

“By September 1, we completed all the local roads that were planned,” – Oleksiy Kucher reported.

In total, 76 km of road surface were restored on local roads this year.

“It is important to connect small towns with the “capital” not only of the region, but with all the cities of our country. In principle, the work is going according to plan, I will say frankly: the Kharkiv region is ahead of most regions in terms of the completion dates of all roads and other facilities,” – said Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to the President of Ukraine, the Kharkiv region can be a model for other regions in the issue of road repair and construction.
