Work continues on the reconstruction of the pedestrian bridge in Chuhuiv

In the city of Chuguiv, work is underway to reconstruct the pedestrian bridge on the M-03 Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhansky highway.

Yesterday, the most difficult work during the entire reconstruction was carried out on the bridge structure, namely, the installation of a metal beam of the span structure, the installation of a pylon and the installation of metal cables.

In the future, work will be carried out to install prefabricated reinforced concrete slab blocks on the span structure and concreting the above-ground part of pillars No. 3 and 4.

The specified structure is intended for safe pedestrian crossing of the highway between two residential areas of the city.
The bridge was built in 1984, since then, major repairs have never been carried out. The total length of the pedestrian bridge is 65.5 meters.

The work uses the latest technologies. The reconstruction project includes the installation of new supports, a pylon with cables, a new span structure, stairs, and the installation of modern lighting.
