A complex of works on their restoration and organization of road safety is underway

With the improvement of weather conditions, a complex of works on their restoration and organization of road safety has been started on public roads of local importance. First of all, attention is paid to the routes that connect the regional center with the deoccupied territories and are actively used for the delivery of humanitarian cargo, evacuation of the population and the wounded, etc.

As of today, a complex repair of local roads in the Chuguivsky district is being carried out along the routes “Hrakovo – Bazalievka – Pechenyhy” and “Martove – Khotimlya – Stary Saltiv”. This is the only route that provides transport connections with the Vovchansk and Velykoburlutsk communities. The restoration of this route is extremely important for ensuring the passage of vehicles to communities that are in close proximity to the front line.

In addition, work is underway in the Izyumsky district to eliminate potholes and restore the coating with solid sections on the “Izyum – Oskil” road. This road connects Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. The road is part of the evacuation and humanitarian route.

Also, great attention is paid to road safety. In order to reduce the level of accidents on local roads, work is being carried out to apply horizontal road markings.
