Attention! Deterioration of weather conditions in the Kharkiv region

As of 09:00, precipitation in the form of light rain and snow is observed in some places in the region. Also, a sharp drop in temperature from 0 to -8 is expected during the day, which may lead to the formation of ice on the roads.

Over the next day, precipitation in the form of moderate snow will persist, the air temperature will reach from -8 to -14 degrees.

In order to prevent complications in traffic and respond promptly, contracting organizations are switching to an enhanced, 24-hour work mode. Also, a 24-hour duty shift of responsible specialists of the State Enterprise “Kharkiv Roads” has been introduced.

Increased attention will be paid to dangerous areas and front-line roads that provide military logistics.

We urge drivers to be as careful as possible behind the wheel:

▪️ avoid sharp maneuvers
▪️ postpone trips without urgent need, if possible

In addition, a mechanism for interaction in the event of dangerous weather phenomena and emergencies with units of the National Police, patrol police, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region has been developed.
