Restoration Works Continue on the “/M-03/ – Hrakove Station – Bazaliivka – Hreblya” Road
The state-owned enterprise “Roads of Kharkiv Region”, acting on the instructions of the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, continues restoration works on local public roads.
This is how the repair section of the “/M-03/ – Hrakove Station – Bazaliivka – Hreblya” road currently looks, on the segment from the state highway “Chuhuiv – Milove” to the village of Leb’yazhe. As of today, works on this section are nearing completion. Horizontal road markings have already been applied, and new road signs will be installed next.
On another repair section within the Pechenihy territorial community, works are underway to construct the base layer of sand–crushed stone mix and to install the leveling asphalt concrete layer.
A year ago, most of the Kharkiv region was de-occupied. Due to the destruction of a large number of bridges, ensuring stable transportation to these territories became a critical issue.
The “/M-03/ – Hrakove Station – Bazaliivka – Hreblya” road is part of an alternative route to the Vovchansk and Velykyi Burluk communities. Before the repair works began, some sections of the road were completely destroyed, making it difficult for vehicles and machinery to pass.
Currently, the contractor has about 2 km of roadway left to restore. However, this route is already actively used for delivering humanitarian aid to de-occupied areas, the rapid evacuation of the wounded and civilians, and for responding to the consequences of shelling.
